Twitter can be a cruel place sometimes. This picture is an example of my point. Two sweet kids kissing in the hall. They aren’t hurting anyone in any way, but someone decides to snap a picture and post it on twitter. What does that lovely caption say…”Why am I still single?” Imply that if these two people are together (and they aren’t all that attractive), then why is the poster not in a relationship?
If I had to make a guess, it’s because the people who are laughing at this couple and re-tweeting it have really shitty personalities and are assholes. I’m sorry but just because you think you are more attractive physically than this couple doesn’t mean you actually are. And even if you are, it’s doesn’t mean that your obvious cruel streak doesn’t show through. Even pretty people can be very ugly people on the inside and no one really like them.
So what if they aren’t the homecoming queen and the captain of the football team? They are together and they seem very happy with each other. Why shouldn’t people smile and think they are a cute couple? Are the popular kids the only ones who should be in relationships and be able to show it at school?
I’m not tumblr famous and I really don’t care. But I’d love for this couple to get the respect they deserve. They are so adorable. The first time I saw the picture I couldn’t help but go “awwww” at the cuteness of them. So if this picture makes you smile for any reason, please like or re-blog it for them.

I agree that they are a cute couple. It’s nice to see a couple publicly nowadays instead of just private online couples or unofficial fuck buddies who never leave the bedroom together. My only critique is she shouldn’t have worn sneakers with a skirt!
